Nurlanthi fashion performance

Nurlanthi (pronounced Nur-lan-di and loosely meaning ‘the twisting of fibres’ in Kuarna language) was an extraordinary Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander cultural fashion performance. Gracing the stage in wearable art, local Indigenous models were joined by Aboriginal dancers and a live performance from Electric Fields in a show that heightened the relationship between art and fashion.
Undertaking three key areas, Cul-de-sac Creative produced and styled the fashion performance (assisting curator and designer Grace Lillian Lee); produced and art directed the hero campaign image and executed the pre and post event branding collateral including print, digital and video production.
